Hoppy Easter!

The Easter Bunny brought new reading material and jelly beans.

A tisket, a tasket, every year they make me sit in a basket!  Not this year, because she thought it was dirty.  Even lined with a blanket, we could only convince her to stand.

Jon is ready for the royal wedding!

It's egg shaped.

After egg hunting, K had the best time splashing her feet in the pool with cousin H.

Grandma put nail polish in the Easter basket.  Hooray!

Last year, I worried about Katie getting the gist of Easter's meaning.  Even this year, she hasn't completely grasped it.  She does know that it involves Jesus and his "tune".  Not bad.  Getting warmer.  However, she did think there was a gorilla painted on the screen at the Good Friday church service.

Pregnostic (33 weeks)

Oops - I missed a week of pregnancy.  Somehow week 32 just flew by without my even noticing.  Perhaps I was distracted watching Jon move every item in our home to the garage for our new flooring to be installed.  How great was the timing of this project?!  Just one glance at my bulging belly and Jon knew I wouldn't/shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting.  If you heard about my attempt to move the fence, well, that was an emergency, and I wasn't successful anyway!

Hello, Baby Bundt bulge!  I've read you should get professional maternity photos taken in the 7th month when the bump is present, but still cute.  I think I've missed that window!!
We forgot fun props this time.  Jon suggested the wind could act as a point of interest.  So interesting that it blew our new tree and old fence down.

Just a little jealous of the flat stomach on this guy.  After dusting and moving every piece of furniture back into the house, Jon went on a much deserved guy's (air conditioned cabin) camping trip.  And he didn't get shot!

Baby Bundt is now the size of a honeydew melon.  It's weird though, that melon doesn't feel like it weighs 30 lbs.

Pregnotated (28 weeks plus a few days)

We've got a new blog name in the works since we will soon be posting more about Baby Bundt.  These future posts may or may not include Katie or Abbey.  This is just a small taste of the changes to come.  In this post, Katie will only be mentioned and not featured in any photos due to her refusal to wear pants (or dress, or skirt) this evening.

The belly at 28 weeks.  Yes, it is as heavy as it looks.  Not really sure where 11 more weeks of growth is going to go, but really looking forward to seeing just how big a belly can get!

According to the very scientific baby books I've been reading, Baby Bundt should be about the size of a large acorn squash at this point.  Assuming I can find an acorn squash this time of year, and can then get Katie clothed, and willing to hold the aforementioned squash while I snap a picture, I will edit this post to include it.

Pregabulous (24 weeks and 1 day)

24 weeks and Baby Bundt is the size of a large zucchini.  Hmmm...obviously not a precise measurement.
Comparing our bellies - I win!
Feeding veggie Baby Bundt to the dog after the photo shoot is starting to worry me.  I just know if I leave the room after BB arrives, K is going to be feeding her to Abs as a snack.

La Pregnita (20 weeks)

Baby Bundt is half baked!  I think it is safe to say I am beyond the awkwardly chubby looking portion of pregnancy.  I am now in the pregnant looking stage of pregnancy.  Much better for the self esteem!  Even if Jon, quite tactfully, discouraged me from wearing my non-maternity swimming suit, that I purchased in college, while on our vacation last week.  Bet you wish there was a picture of that!

Eggplant parm, anyone?  No one is more excited about being in the backyard with vegetables than Abbey.

Maybe the vegetable to baby comparison is becoming too real/weird/real weird.  Katie did not want to hold eggplant size Baby Bundt.

But she did like holding her belly like Mom.

pregerrific (16 weeks)

Here's the belly at 16 weeks along.
I'm allowed to run now, so the belly is all late night buttered popcorn and Baby Bundt.

Big Sis sends a lil' magic to B. B.
It seems K thinks the baby is located in my chest.

Baby Bundt is now the size of a russet potato.
Grow, baby, grow.

Abbey loves the potato baby a lot.
Abbey doesn't understand using food for anything other than devouring.
Now Katie says, "Abbey ate Baby Bundt."

Seasonal and weather appropriate props below.

Pregnastic (12 weeks)

Baby Bundt is the now the size of a kiwi.  Only 196 days to go!

And I am the size of a...

I did not forget about the props.  Here you go!

Here's a link to a picture of me 12 weeks pregnant with Katie.

Oh and at our last sonogram, the sono tech and the doctor separately guessed Baby Bundt's gender.  That makes three votes for female, if you count mine too.  We'll let you know if anything, uh, develops on the gender front at 20 weeks.

Pregnacious (8 weeks)

Here's Baby Bundt at 8 weeks along. Well, it's really a combo of cherry sized Baby Bundt, and a doctor recommended running suspension you're seeing here. Lil Sis (my guess for gender) is already sharing the spotlight with Big Sis.

My belly photos with Katie were a tad bland, so this time around we are going to be mixing things up with props. Enjoy! Ton of Fun thinks this is a weird idea.

But Katie loves the silly factor.

Baby Bundt is now the size of a cherry. Grow, BB, grow!
